Art Periodic South Africa is a not-for-profit company established in 2025 to administer, produce, and fundraise for South Africa’s participation in non-commercial international art exhibitions and cultural events.
The organisation partners with others to ensure that South African artists and curators are represented on global platforms of excellence, fostering international exchange, collaboration, and visibility for the country’s contemporary art sector.

Ann Roberts is an arts manager, curator, and producer with over 20 years of experience delivering major cultural projects in South Africa and abroad. She led South Africa’s Pavilion at the 2017 Venice Biennale and formerly managed special projects at the Goodman Gallery, where she developed SOUTH SOUTH, a global platform for cross-cultural exchange. As Founder of TMRW (The Mixed Reality Workshop), she produced over 60 new media artworks and curated internationally. Ann was Production Manager for William Kentridge’s Why Should I Hesitate (Zeitz MOCAA) and manages the art properties at Keyes Art Mile in Johannesburg. She holds an MA in Arts and Culture Management (Wits, with distinction)
Liesl Potgieter is a production manager and exhibition designer with extensive experience in art and architectural project delivery. She is the Design and Production Director at RMB Latitudes, where she co-led the fair’s relaunch and expansion. Liesl has overseen the design, technical planning, fabrication, and implementation for the South African Pavilion in Venice and worked on the following editions: Candice Breitz & Mohau Modisakeng (2017), The Stronger We Become (2019), and Quiet Ground (2024). Through her studio, PLNTH, she manages large-scale corporate art commissions and public installations, collaborating with emerging artists, local makers, designers and architects. Liesl brings practical expertise in logistics, production systems and team coordination to A°P’s operations.
Pule Taukobong is an entrepreneur, investor, and pan-African cultural advocate with a strong record in building high-growth ventures and investment frameworks across the continent. He provides strategic oversight in finance, governance, and partnerships. Best known as Co-founder of CRE Venture Capital, The Intrepid and Africa Angels Network, he has helped fund and scale leading African technology and innovation platforms while connecting local enterprise with global investors. His experience in fundraising, compliance, and portfolio management ensures fiscal accountability within A°P. Deeply committed to sustainability and the arts, Pule promotes a unique model for South Africa’s international cultural representation, ensuring A°P is institutionally sound.
